A few days ago, I started research for a piece on media bias, today the best example was happening in live time before my eyes. The U.S. House of Representatives opened the hearings on the origin of the coronavirus at 9 a.m. No network, not even C-Span would carry the event live, my only choice was a streaming YouTube feed. Six million people worldwide died from this virus, and it’s not covered by any major media outlet. The biased media is helping the globalist agenda!
The most prominent example of media bias happened in June 2022 with all major networks carrying the Democrats’ January 6th hearings during the primetime hours in the evening. A single-sided hearing with no rebuttal testimony or evidence, presented at peak television viewing time on all networks. Now contrast that to the Republican January 6th hearings that were held recently that received no network mention or coverage.
The media wasn’t always biased, real journalists salivated at catching the government in wrongdoing. Today, journalists are telling a story, a narrative that isn’t the truth. They bend reality to convince their audience of something usually far from the truth. The biased media wants to help the globalist elite.
What Happened, Where Did It Go Wrong?
The liberal Marxist agenda has been growing for decades. Universities were the breeding ground to advance the cause. Those students graduated with degrees in journalism and communications and now lead most newspapers, television, radio, movie, and advertising companies. Indoctrinated with liberal agendas they control the messaging Americans are exposed to. They carry the torch of radical progressive Marxism, and they are proud of it. They are bound to bias and push the one-world-order globalist agenda.
Apolitical organizations such as the Media Research Center (MRC) perform statistical analysis that is a watchdog over media bias. MRC data and research proved the 2020 and 2022 elections were completely slanted in all media forums in favor of the Democratic candidates. Even Republican internet e-mails were guided to spam, social media was censored, and Republican candidates’ accounts were suspended or revoked.
Today, there is no governmental intervention to stop it. The government is actually helping the media bias, even violating regulations and laws meant to protect us. American transmitted communications are regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) agency.
This is very important: THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY OWN THE PUBLIC AIRWAVES TV AND RADIO IS TRANSMITTED ACROSS. The FCC is just the steward of those airwaves for us, not the owners.
We can all recall many news stories that have been false, misleading, or omitted to advance the globalist agenda. The FCC regulates what is transmitted on those airwaves but also has to balance the 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech. The 1st Amendment is not absolute to a television or radio station, just as a person can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater as a hoax.
Excerpts from FCC Regulations:
“In exchange for obtaining a valuable license to operate a broadcast station using the public airwaves, each radio and television licensee is required by law to operate its station in the public interest, convenience and necessity.”
“Station licensees, as the trustees of the public’s airwaves, must use the broadcast medium to serve the public interest”
“as public trustees, broadcast licensees may not intentionally distort the news. The FCC has stated that “rigging or slanting the news is a most heinous act against the public interest.”
I’m guessing by now you are furious at the FCC’s lack of enforcement. Remember, they don’t act unless petitioned with facts that an egregious violation has happened. Congress needs to act on this matter, but it probably would not get through the Democratically controlled Senate. The House of Representatives only course of action is to pull funding out of the FCC’s budget.
Currently, the media is a tool of the Marxist Progressive Left and the public is not being served by being misinformed. The biased media is helping the globalist agenda. Their narrative is slanted to promote a globalist agenda. Our best tool to combat it until the next election cycle is our voices and our computers. Get vocal, get online and dispute the lies and tell the truth. The Left won’t debate us in public as it humanizes us and they don’t have the facts on their side. Take back control of the message and we take back America!
