The Silicon Valley Bank collapsed and was taken over by federal regulators this week. SVB was the 16th largest bank in the US, catering mostly to the tech industry. This is the largest bank failure since the financial crisis in 2008. The stock market reacted with a major selloff.
Biden proposed a $6.8 Trillion dollar budget with the same old rhetoric of taxing the rich. Except this one taxes the middle class by removing tax deductions such as Like-Kind Exchanges such as when you sell your house the proceeds will be taxed whether or not they are reinvested in a new home. He wants to grow ObamaCare, provide free community college, give impoverished countries billions to fight climate change, and further bail out Ukraine. Don’t expect this to pass the House as is.
Covid Origin Hearings got very testy this week with witnesses grilled on behind-the-scenes accounts between the CDC and NIH. Dr. Redfield testified that the Covid-19 virus was genetically altered, and could not have happened in nature. Democrat Representatives went on tirades claiming Trump did it, and racism.
The new Atlanta Police Training Facility construction site came under attack by Antifa and WOKE agitators. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of destruction to equipment by arson occurred while rioters threw rocks, and Molotov cocktails at police. Arrests and charges were filed on 23 rioters including an SPLC Attorney, all but one were from out of state.
Four Americans were attacked just after crossing the border from Texas into Mexico. The entire episode was caught on video showing the van carrying the four individuals attacked by a drug cartel killing two, wounding one, and throwing all the bodies into the back of a pickup truck before driving off. They were later left at a nearby barn and returned back to the US.
A Florida federal judge ruled the Biden administration’s practice of catch and release violates US immigration law. The administration has 7 days to appeal before the injunction goes into effect. Expect an appeal and continuing open borders.

The House voted unanimously 419-0 to declassify the intelligence communities’ information on the Covid-19 pandemic origin. Biden has been reluctant to release any information for fear of upsetting China.
Twitter Files Release investigative journalists Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger came under attack by Democrats during the House hearing on the same. Rep. Cori Bush attempted to discredit them by calling the pair “so-called journalists”, prompting them to fire back they have been nationally acclaimed with numerous awards.
