Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg officially swore out an arrest warrant for the presidential candidate and former president Donald Trump. The announcement was unexpected this early and caused countywide criticism of election interference. President Trump is expected to appear for arraignment on Monday.
Nashville was the site of a mass murder committed by a 28-year-old mentally ill transgender named Audrey Hale. She shot out the side-locked door of the Covenant School and proceeded upstairs fatally shooting three 9 yr. old children and three adult school employees. Police responded quickly, entered the school, and confronted the shooter who was then fatally shot. Mainstream media has been downplaying the school’s 6 deaths and running sympathy stories about transgender individuals.
Transgender activists staged violent insurrections at the Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Tennessee Capitols, and at a Virginia Commonwealth University. A planned Trans Day of Vengeance this weekend in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C. was canceled.
Department of Defense officials finally released statements that the Chinese spy balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina did in fact contain intelligence of U.S. military installations. The Pentagon had earlier stated they had successfully jammed the balloon’s intelligence-gathering capability. The information was uplinked to Chinese satellites. Congress should hold additional hearings regarding the decision-making of allowing the spycraft to transit U.S. sovereign territory for a week.
Numerous countries around the world have seen protests regarding extra taxation for climate change programs. Canada is increasing its carbon tax, further exasperating citizens already hit with high inflation due to the war on oil initiatives of U.S. President Joe Biden.
Forty state legislatures have introduced or already passed legislation designed to protect children from transgender mutilations and gender-affirming child abuse. Trans activists have promised to fight the new laws.
In a very rare unanimous bi-partisan vote, both the House and the Senate passed the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023 which will declassify the U.S. intelligence community’s investigations of the origin of the virus. Joe Biden reluctantly signed the Act into Law knowing his veto would have been overridden.
The White House instructed the Department of Energy to write new regulations removing incandescent bulbs from retail stores. The new regulation goes into effect on August 1st prohibiting the sale of any incandescent light bulbs after that date. Once again the White House has overridden the will of the people and the open market by forcing citizens to only use products the government finds acceptable. As of this posting, 55% of American homes and businesses still used some incandescent light bulbs.
Republican Florida Governor Ron Desantis signed into law House Bill 1, opening school choice to every school-aged child in the State of Florida. The Bill also lifted the financial requirements to qualify for the school scholarship program, a grant to offset the additional costs.
