The tornados that ripped through Mississippi and the school shooting in Nashville this week have unleashed more liberal propaganda. Whenever a weather event happens it’s the call for more fossil fuel restrictions. The school shooting brought out the anti-gun movement again. With liberal media bias, how can the average citizen get the truth? Conservatives should start standing firm, you can’t appease a liberal, so stop trying.
Both events were tragedies with loss of life and forever scarring their communities. Were they preventable, the liberal would say yes, but the reality is probably not. They argue that fossil fuels cause CO2 emissions that cause global warming. Data from our own government agency NOAA says otherwise.
Taxing our citizens with ridiculous carbon credits and forcing purchases of all-electric vehicles only harms the people with no net benefit. Climate events have happened since the world was formed and will continue to happen long after man is extinct. For the past 50 years, climate alarmism has been going on, and there has not been one improvement from their efforts. Efforts to strengthen our homes and infrastructure against climatic events would be a much better alternative. Response teams and more FEMA funding would help, as would streamlining insurance claims and reconstruction.
Bad people will always find another way to carry out their criminal behavior
Gun control advocates argue if all guns are confiscated there will be no more gun deaths. That too is false, only the bad guys and the government will have guns. Even if over 50 years they were able to confiscate all the bad guys’ guns, they would revert to another weapon of choice. Look at the increased stabbing rate in Great Britain, it is now inversely proportional to the gun deaths we have in the United States.
School camera footage of the Nashville gunman showed the locked exterior doors being shot out to gain access to the interior. Police reported the gunman had thought or attempted to go to a different location first, but felt security was too strong. The key to this is the fact the bad guy went to the place of least resistance with the potential to do the most harm.
A liberal will argue if that person didn’t have the ability to access a gun it never would have happened. A sane person would argue if the gunman thought there had been another armed person at the school the gunman would have passed on it just like their other choice was.
What was the catalyst for the gunman to choose the school? Liberal laws of the past established “gun-free zones” where law-abiding citizens are not permitted to carry weapons. The liberals provided a scenario for criminals much like shooting ducks in a barrel. Making matters worse, the liberals then defunded police departments and removed school Resource Officers, leaving the children totally helpless.
President Reagan was Right
Ronald Reagan said it best in his “Peace Through Strength” speech. The bad people of the world think twice about carrying out their terrible acts if someone there stands up to them with equal or more force.
There will always be mentally ill people that will carry out atrocities against their fellow human beings. We can’t stop all of it, but we can deter them with safety barriers and the threat of harm to them if they try. Liberal laws have removed the threat of harm to the bad guys, you reap what you sow.
There is no point in trying to compromise or convince a liberal with facts, data, or persuasion. Our Congress is full of appeasers, Representatives that feel we need bi-partisan approval. Paul Ryan, Adam Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, and Mitt Romney are great examples of appeasers. They gave away our freedoms and rights in order to think everyone will be happy.
A liberal will always take but never give up anything. There’s no point in thinking a compromise will later benefit the conservative agenda because it never does. We have strong beliefs with a strong history of making America a better place for all. It’s time to quit appeasing and hold true to our values.
Get your voice out there and stand up for what’s right. Attend pro-conservative meetings. Write your Representatives, both Republican and Democrat, and let them know your views. Stop buying products from pro-left organizations and move what’s left of your savings from pro-left banks to conservative banks.
