How Pope Francis is Destroying the Church
In Matthew, chapter 16:18, Jesus says to Peter “and so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.” But what happens when the Leader of the Church welcomes the netherworld in and goes against the words of God? This is the question many Catholics are confronting today. It is the current downfall of Catholicism.
Although the Bible is the core source of authority for the Church, the Pope is believed to be a direct successor of St. Peter. Through this direct line to Jesus, Catholics identify the presence of Jesus in the Papacy. Many within the Church believe the Pope is infallible due to his guidance by the Holy Spirit.
The Pope’s position has immense authority since the Roman Catholic Church is the largest denomination within Christianity globally. His first role is as the Prime Witness to Faith, a teacher of the understanding of Faith, and sharing Christ’s message of God’s love for everyone.
As the head of the Catholic Church, the Pope has the ability to make changes in the church’s direction and mission. He’s basically the Church’s CEO without a Board of Directors or shareholders with voting rights. He receives advice from his staff Bishops and Cardinals but has the ultimate authority in the end. Recently the Synod on Synodality was held stripping power of Bishops, Latin Mass crackdowns, Opposition to Christ’s sacraments, women’s ordination, and blessing of same-sex unions. He is intimidating Bishops and speaking heretical teachings.
Moving Away From Traditional Catholicism
Pope Francis has made it his mission to shake the Catholic Church from its core beliefs and foundations and make it a more up-to-date, WOKE, Progressive Church. He has called for the Church to welcome the LGBTQ+ community and be less judgmental of their lifestyles. He has issued orders for those promoting abortion (i.e. Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden), to still receive Holy Communion. The Pope has also instructed all Parishes that congregants refusing to receive penance at confession still receive Holy Communion.
In recent days he has ordered the Catholic Church to bless same-sex marriages. That order is in direct conflict with the Bible. The Bible states It is an abomination for a man to lie with another man as he would a woman. Apostle Paul said it is contrary to the natural order and comes from rejecting God.
Francis seems to want to deride traditional Catholic ways and has begun to dismantle them. One that has brought about great dissent within the Church was limiting Latin Masses. Conservatives in the United States protested the loudest over the loss of the Latin Masses.
It’s no surprise that Pope Francis has endorsed the One World Order and is already calling for Europe to be “federalized” as a single government-controlled property. The Pope has praised George Soros for his contributions to the Open Society Foundation and others promoting a one-world order. The Pope is very critical of the United States and openly denounced President Trump’s efforts at closing our southern border. As a matter of fact, the Pope has been extremely critical of American freedom and independence ideology. He has called America “backward” for its conservative traditional values.
A vocal proponent of “The Great Reset”, Pope Francis speaks at the annual World Economic Forum. He also promotes Inclusive Capitalism, a form of communism that equalizes everyone’s wealth no matter their contribution.
Besides turning his back on the abortion issue, Pope Francis has also chosen to look the other way on assisted suicide. Recently the Pope had the opportunity to make a statement about both abortion and assisted suicide but chose not to. The Canadian Parliament passed resolutions that lifted all abortion regulations and approved assisted suicides. During a recent visit with Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, the Pope refused to bring up the subjects.
The current WOKE ideology of using climate change to take the wealth of industry and the rich is also being promoted by Pope Francis. Ignoring acclaimed climatologists that climate events are cyclical and have been occurring since the last ice age, the Pope has decried climate change to be existential. Pope Francis has held talks with Bill Clinton promoting the World Economic Forum’s “Net Zero “climate change goals. He believes climate change is the paramount challenge for the world instead of keeping and bringing new people into a life with God. With zero evidence that climate change has any manmade component, the Pope is championing another WOKE ideology meant to divide the population. He has decided to save the planet rather than save souls.
Marxist All Along
To understand Pope Francis, one needs to understand his early years. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1936 as Jorge Mario Bergoglio, he witnessed the tumultuous years of Argentina’s takeover by the Socialists. During his school-age years, the educational system was “purified” by the Socialists.
The process of indoctrination was implemented and the brainwashing began. After graduation, Bergoglio worked as a chemical technician at a local food factory lab. While there he was mentored by his boss, an outspoken Marxist who provided Bergoglio with books and newspapers promoting Karl Marx and Socialism. It was reported he craved more and more books on the subject.
Pope Francis was deeply influenced by the Socialist teachings. So much so as to post this on his Twitter account in 2014, “Inequality is the root of all evil.” The Bible and the Church teach us that Satan is the root of all evil, not social injustices as derived from Karl Marx.
The Slippery Slope
Now that the Pope is undermining the Catholic Church his opponents are becoming vocal. Using his authority, unheard-of firings are happening, mostly in outspoken America. The latest Church termination was Bishop Strickland from Texas. Strickland had been an outspoken critic of Pope Francis telling his parishioners the Pope is undermining the Faith. He further wrote that evil had infiltrated the church, more specifically the LGBTQ+ ideology that Pope Francis has now become a champion of.
Strickland wasn’t the first firing of those who were questioning the Pope. There have been others and there will be many more. The Church’s future is now being questioned by both clergy and journalists, but the very people it serves, the parishioners.
Bishops are fighting back! U.S. Bishops elected Archbishop Timothy Broglio, head of the Archdiocese for Military Services as President of the Bishop’s Conference. Archbishop Broglio is known as a very staunch, traditional Catholic supporting Pope John Paul II’s and Pope Benedict’s initiatives. As the conference Representative to the Vatican, he sends a very strong message to the Pope.
Actions for Catholics
Being a courageous defender of the Church’s teachings and values should make you proud and an example to all other parishioners. The Progressives pushing the WOKE ideology only make up 3%-5% of the population, with only a fraction of that regularly attending Church.
Speak up against the propaganda asserting that God made some people homosexual and that unions based on sodomy are a good thing and deserve the Church’s blessing. God made man and woman to love God, love each other, and propagate.
Counter the argument the Holy Spirit inspired the change in Church doctrine regarding homosexuality and transgenderism, God cannot bless sin and would never endorse sin, the Bible is explicit about the matter.
Let your opinions about Pope Francis and the new direction of the Church be known to your local Pastor or Bishop. The more of your fellow parishioners speak up the better the chances it will be relayed to the Conference of Bishops. Remember, you are defending the True Church. Remaining passive and silent only hurts Catholicism.
Stop giving to the Catholic Charities USA, they are an NGO for the Liberal government assisting them with flooding our country with illegal aliens. They are being used by the Progressive Left to undermine our values, traditions, and beliefs.
Stop tithing to the general fund, instead tithe to only local causes, such as a new building fund. Give your money in different ways such as buying food for the church food bank, or purchasing local restaurant gift cards for the Priests and staff. Avoid the ability to have your money supporting the Vatican.
Talk to major donors of the Catholic Church and ask if they are aware of what the Pope is doing. Invite them to do their own research and come back to you for further discussion.
Start having discussions with other parishioners, chances are they only watch the legacy news and are unaware of what is going on. This Pope is destroying Catholicism, it is Your Church, Your Faith, and you need to save it! Please pray the Pope receives God’s guidance.
