It’s Time to Learn The Truth of Jan 6th

The 2020 Presidential election was the most controversial election in many years, and most likely the most dishonest in the history of this country. Almost 75 million people voted for Donald Trump, 11 million more votes than his win in 2016, but this time he was not declared the winner. Right away fraudulent activity was proclaimed but shouted down by the far-left. The truth of Jan 6th needs to be determined and released to the public.

Researchers found the election numbers to be unattainable, but the far-left would hear nothing of it and raced forward to certify the election as valid. This article is not going to debate the validity of the election results, which will come in a future article, but question what happened on January 6th, 2020.

Imagine 75 million voters feeling as though their votes were stolen, they had been disenfranchised as citizens.  Donald Trump and his many lawyers also believed the election was stolen. The data was there, and to the average citizen, it was clear there were shenanigans involved. Look at the graph below and you can see how they could come to that conclusion.

Other than the anomaly in 2008 with the first black candidate (Barack Obama), the total number of votes cast followed the number of US citizens growth. That is until 2020 when population growth averages dropped between elections from over 3% to only 1.9%.

The Voter Turnout

However, voter turnout increased by 17 million instead of the 3-5 million average growth, a whopping 21% increase in votes. Irregularities were found throughout many states and investigations were launched, many by those that had been overseeing the questionable elections in the first place.  Until the truth of Jan 6th is known, the country cannot move forward.

The Democrats in Congress led by Nancy Pelosi were adamant to get the results certified without delay. The rhetoric and the accusations soared until January 6th when it came to a head.  The President wanted to delay the certification and have the anomalies investigated but the Democrats wanted to certify the election without delay. 

 An estimated 120,000 people attended rallies in DC that day with many marching on the Capitol to show Congress it was un-American to certify an election fraught with problems.

Here’s a quick timeline of that day:

Labeled “Insurrection”

Law enforcement estimated 1200 protestors entered the Capitol before being escorted out or arrested.  It is also estimated there were $1.5 million dollars of damages done that day. As of this writing, almost 800 people have been arrested for a variety of charges stemming from the events of that day.

Nancy Pelosi, far-left progressives, and the mainstream media have labeled it an “Insurrection” and “an assault on democracy.”  An insurrection is an organized opposition to authority, a revolt, usually armed, trying to take control or overthrow the government.

The protestors on January 6th had no hierarchy, there was no one in control that day. They were armed with American flags, Trump flags, and cell phones, and not one shot was fired from a protestor, only the Capitol Police. The intent was never to overthrow the government but to make their voices known and then it escalated to impede the certification process. At no time were they trying to replace the existing government with one of their own.

Jailed Without Charges

I don’t have the data on this, but I would guess the total amount of jail time served will be more from the participants of the January 6th protest than the participants of the George Floyd protests.

What happened on January 6th was wrong and laws were broken. Now I’m questioning what happened after January 6th.  Why is the Department of Justice pursuing the January 6th participants with such a vengeance, but looking away or slapping the hands of the participants of the George Floyd arsons, looting, and assaults?  

Sham Hearings

Why did Nancy Pelosi and the leftwing Progressives hold televised congressional hearings where only one party participated and there was no defense allowed to refute the given testimony? 

Who gave Nancy Pelosi the authority to omit ranking Republican House Members from sitting on the committee? Was the Department of Justice weaponized against the Trump Republicans solely for their affiliation with the party?  Did Nancy Pelosi and her January 6th committee violate any laws concerning fairness and due process? 

Did the FBI, HSI, and other law enforcement agencies have undercover people embedded in the crowd on January 6th?  If they were there, why didn’t they announce themselves and attempt to stop things before they got out of control?  Why wasn’t Ray Epps arrested for inciting the crowd? Why wasn’t Ray Epps brought before the Jan 6th Committee hearings? There are people detained for over 400 days without being charged, what about the right of due process?

Were people threatened and coerced into guilty pleas? These are the discussions that need to take place now.  The truth of Jan 6th needs to be determined and released to the public.

Propaganda War

We are in a war of propaganda and lies that has infected our government and our media. Continuing this path will ultimately lead our nation to a 3rd world totalitarian society. Unless there is open discussion and honest debate to learn all the facts, no one will ever trust what comes out of the government or news agencies again. 

The government’s sole responsibility is to serve its people. The government owns nothing, the people own everything, down to the last pencil. Even the airwaves our television and radio signals transmit on are owned by the people but under the stewardship of the FCC. The government has been entrusted by its citizens to be stewards of all that property marked “Property of the US Government.” We elect representatives to craft our laws and govern the nation. When the power bestowed upon an elected official is violated or abused, it’s time to have our voices heard and demand accountability. 

Time For Action
